Our Story

We established the foundation in September 2023, with the aim of contributing to Kao’s purpose to realize a Kirei World in which all life lives in harmony. Our past activities were mainly focused on the provision of products and services. Going beyond this, we embrace corporate citizenship to pursue solutions to the issues that are faced by people in their daily lives.
In recent years there has been an increase in action taken by governments, organizations, corporations and individuals in response to the SDGs. However, some issues remain unaddressed.
We will identify the social issues that must be addressed in and outside of Japan, and work with diverse partners with whom we share values and aspirations, to realize a society in which all people can live enriched lives and no one is left behind.
